Role/ Overview

The Operations Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day execution of waste management operations, including vehicle pickups, warehouse coordination, inventory flow, and inbound/outbound logistics. They will ensure that all processes run efficiently, on time, and in line with OneStepGreener’s sustainability standards. This role demands someone with strong operational discipline, team leadership skills, and the ability to manage field labor and logistics vendors. The ideal candidate will act as the central link between field execution and backend coordination while upholding the values and mission of OSG.

Key Responsibilities Role/ Overview

• Supervise and coordinate daily waste collection fleet pickups, ensuring timely routing, dispatch, and tracking

  
  

• Oversee warehouse operations, including material intake, preliminary sorting, and staging for outbound delivery

  
  

• Manage inventory and stock flow, especially inbound waste volumes and outbound loads sent to recyclers

  
  

• Track and report vehicle utilization, turnaround time, and pickup efficiency

  
  

• Collaborate with field labor, warehouse staff, and fleet drivers to ensure smooth execution and task clarity

  
  

• Maintain discipline, safety protocols, and attendance within teams

  
  

• Prepare operational reports, incident logs, and compliance documentation regularly

  
  

• Coordinate with central logistics and compliance teams for volume reporting and traceability documentation

  
  

• Support development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for your assigned vertical (e.g. fleet, warehouse, or inventory)

  
  

• Escalate on-ground challenges to senior operations team with solutions or proposed interventions

  
  

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Machine Operator to operate and manage various production machines including Extruder, Shredder/Grinder, Injection Molding, and Hot Press machines. The candidate will ensure smooth production operations, maintain product quality, and follow all safety and maintenance protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Operations

• Operate and monitor Extruder machines to produce plastic granules and lumps.

• Operate Shredder/Grinder machines for material size reduction as per production requirements.

• Set up, operate, and monitor Injection Molding machines for molded plastic products.

• Operate and control Hot Press machines for HDPE processing.

• Load raw materials and ensure proper material handling during production.

• Set and adjust machine parameters such as temperature, pressure, speed, and cycle time.

• Ensure smooth workflow across all machines.

Quality Control

• Inspect processed materials and finished products for quality and consistency.

• Adjust process parameters to meet product specifications.

• Minimize defects and ensure adherence to production standards.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Perform routine machine checks and preventive maintenance.

• Identify and troubleshoot basic mechanical or process-related issues.

• Maintain equipment cleanliness and proper upkeep.

• Reduce machine downtime through proactive monitoring.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily production reports (Hard copy, Google Sheets & Excel).

• Record machine performance, output, and material usage.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all safety guidelines and operational SOPs.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.

• Ensure proper use of PPE and safe handling of materials.

Eligibility Criteria:

• ITI/Diploma or relevant technical qualification preferred.

• 1–3 years of experience operating industrial machines (Extruder, Shredder, Injection Molding, Hot Press preferred).

• Experience in plastic recycling or manufacturing industry is an advantage.

• Basic knowledge of machine parameters and troubleshooting.

• Ability to work in shifts.
