Role Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Chain Intern to support OSG’s procurement, logistics, and recycling operations across India. This role offers hands-on experience in vendor coordination, inventory tracking, logistics planning, and supply chain data analysis within the sustainability and circular economy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating with recyclers, vendors, and transporters for material procurement and dispatch.
- Support daily supply chain operations including order tracking, scheduling pickups, and delivery coordination.
- Maintain and update MIS reports related to volumes, inventory, margins, and logistics.
- Help in monitoring material quality, weights, and documentation.
- Conduct market research on vendors, recyclers, and logistics partners.
- Assist in resolving operational issues related to dispatch, delivery, or payments.
- Support the team in data analysis, reporting, and process improvement tasks.
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Basic knowledge of supply chain or logistics processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Good to Have:
- Prior internship or project experience in supply chain, operations, or logistics.
- Interest in sustainability, recycling, or circular economy.
- Basic data analysis skills.
